After two weeks of tryouts and exhibition games, the Vankleek Hill Cougars are finally set to start the season  this Saturday September 23rd at 3:30pm against the Cumberland Bandits at the Robert Guertin Arena (Gatineau) during the NCJHL’s showcase.

The Cougars will ice a very young, fast and exciting team.  Many young local players have made the jump to junior hockey this year to join a solid group of veterans.  Difficult cuts were necessary but the organization is confident that Vankleek Hill will be a very competitive team.

Our home opener will be  Saturday, September 30th against the St-Isidore Eagles.  Puck drop is at 7:30pm, so come out and support your hometown team!
