The MSBL vs. OCABA World Series was held last weekend at Savanna High School.  The OCABA Lower Division champ Rays took on the MSBL 44+ Divsion champ Sun Devils at 10am.  The Sun Devils broke out early to take the Rays in a final of 23-2. 

The 2pm game slot was the OCABA Upper Division champ Pirates vs. the MSBL 18+ Division champ Whales. The game was played under protest by the Pirates due to roster ineligibility concerns on the Whales part. The game concluded with a Whales victory, 11-1. Upon review of the MSBL scorebooks by the MSBL board, it was determined that one of the players in question were not eligible to play in the playoff for the Whales. This led to a forfeit of the title by the Whales, deeming the OCABA Pirates the victor.
